The OptimaSteel kickoff meeting took place at INOVA+ in Porto on days 3-4 June 2019 and joined all consortium participants: PSA Group, INOVA+, JOANNEUM RESEARCH – Digital (JR) and European Federation for Welding, Joining and Cutting (EWF).
The main objective for OptimaSteel is to improve the health & wellbeing of +50 years steelworkers and consequently enhance the work environment.
In this meeting, the consortium had the opportunity to discuss the work plan for the project, which will run for 21 months. The first step will consist of screening existing technologies/solutions and work on the most promising ones. This selection will have into consideration the context and requirements of PSA which will be partially adopted by PSA after a testing period.
Additionally, the Communication and Dissemination strategy of the OptimaSteel project was also presented, namely the logo and website structure.
